Canara Campus
Canara Evening College is housed in the same premises as that of Canara College. At present, only B. Com Course is being offered and one batch across the three years of the course. As such, the college occupies 4 classrooms in the infrastructural facilities already available.
Library
CEC has a library of its own, though in the earlier years of its existence it was dependent, to some extent, on the library of Canara College. With 769 books and rising, it is slowly and steadily building up its library to the extent that most of the students rely on the books provided by the library instead of purchasing them. Books that are available in the library include, apart from prescribed textbooks, some fiction and non- fiction too. The library provides students with a place where they can indulge in their reading without any disturbance.
Computer Laboratory
CEC was sanctioned a Computer Lab facility of its own by the Management of Canara Institutions in 2021 for the use of its students, particularly to fulfil a mandatory need as per stipulations of Mangalore University to which CEC is affiliated. The Computer Laboratory is 400 square feet in size with 40 desktop computers each of which are wi-fi enabled to help students prepare their reading material if and when they need it.
Athletics/Sports
Although CEC is in its nascent stage and functions from 4.30 PM to 8.20 PM, it still encourages students to participate in sports and games as it realizes that apart from intellectual growth, it is equally necessary that the students concentrate on their physical fitness too.
Sports and games are an outlet for the young who are brimming with energy and unleashing that energy is also equally important. Students are given the opportunity to play outdoor games like Cricket, where both boys and girls participate together, and also indoor games like chess for those interested. Even local games like Lagori are played and enjoyed at the campus.
Students participate enthusiastically in the Sports events held by the college once a year and winners of several events are awarded prizes.
Cafeteria
As the college functions and runs till late evening, students have a break of 15 minutes from 5.55 PM to 6.10 PM which is utilized by them to provide themselves with some refreshments. A Cafeteria run inside the college campus provides them with some snacks prepared hygienically and some beverages of their choice for a reasonable price.
Parking
The college has huge parking area which was originally allocated for the use of Canara College staff and students. As CEC functions beyond the college hours of Canara College, the parking area also is made use of by the staff and students of CEC, apart from guests invited for various functions held at the college.
